Lee Roy Selmon's lifestyle is a combination of football scholarships, family involvement as well as community involvement. Lee Roy weighed 256 lbs and stood at a height of 6-2. In his time at for college, he was the head coach of the 1975 team. In 1993, he was named as associate director at the University of South Florida. In 1988, Selmon was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He also made an appearance in the GTE Academic All-America Hall of Fame as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Selmons' parents Lucious as well as Mary Selmon, Jr. have been awarded the Distinguished American Award in 1989 from the Oklahoma City Chapter National Football Foundation. Henry Bellmon was the Oklahoma Governor who presented this award.
