Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She went on to become a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from an extended family with many issues. She spent the majority of her young life caring for her sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. While she was growing older she had numerous arguments with her mum. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father for being too close with her. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. However, her love for comedy was always there. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV profession in the year 1992, when she appeared as a frequent performer for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV talk show Oh Drama! Seit 2011, she is a cohost of the talk show. She has also appeared as an unnamed character on programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
